What’s Long and Hard and Filled With Seamen?

Mt. Rainier and a Submarine

On my way to work yesterday, I looked out the window and spotted what looked like the ugliest whale I’d ever seen.

Alas, it wasn’t a whale at all … as it turns out, what I saw was this cool death machine that I bought with my very own tax money … built to strike fear into the hearts of terrrrsts worldwide.

Mt. Rainier and a Submarine

Just say no to weapons, kids, unless it’s a badass submarine with kickass torpedos and machine-gunned escort through the Puget Sound (you know, cause that’s where the terrrsts live).

Sneak Peak

Washington State Ferry and Mount Rainier

The mountain was out for the first time in a long time this past week.

I was walking to the galley a few days ago when I just happened to look out the window and catch this scene. I grabbed my camera, lined up the shot, and snapped this photo without so much as breaking stride.

If I can get it working well enough, I may even license it to the other 49 states, and when I do, I’ll be rich. Rich I tell

Scenic Seattle

This morning’s travels took me to such exotic places as Kirkland, Washington and a little town called Redmond.

As I was crossing the 520 Bridge, it stopped raining just long enough for me to grab this shot of Mt. Rainier.

Of course, as soon as I got to the other side of the bridge, it started pouring again.

Man, I hate this town.

Remember, folks, since I’m here to take pictures of the Pacific Northwest each and every day, there is absolutely no reason for you to move here. None.

Spare yourself the
