Seattle Space Needle Reflection at Night

Everything’s Relative

Black folks have slavery.

Poor whites have slavery as well as massive de-humanizing propaganda, bigotry campaigns, and a calculated effort by the elite to drive down their incomes and living standards.

For Jews, it was The Holocaust.

Asians have internment.

What about affluent white women, though?  Now that they graduate from college more often, live longer, wield greater political power, and control a greater percentage of consumer spending than any other group, what claim to oppression do they hold today?

Well, I don’t know about your neck of the woods, but in Seattle, they’ve got “hearing opinions they don’t agree with”.

Oh, I shit you not, friends, that is honestly what they consider “oppression” these days.

Apparently, the Betty Page House:

Was vandalized, and then was, uh, de-vandalized?

I can’t really read the original graffiti, it looks like it says something like “Stop exploiting women’s bodies”, or something to that effect.

In response, this message was plastered over with a couple of sentences explaining that the previous messages, what was, without a doubt an opinion, was in fact “oppression”. Now look, graffiti is a shitty thing and I get that one, but is being subjected to the opinion of other people “oppression”? Because if it is, I may be the most oppressed person on the face of the earth.

Alas, it’s another one of those things that’s reserved for the members of certain groups of people who, let’s face it, have never experienced anything worse.

I know I’ve said this before, and I’m going to say it again, but may all of your problems be white girl problems, because I truly want the best for all of you.
