Michael Wang Memorial at Thomas and Dexter
This is a short update on the Hit-and-Run of Michael Wang.
The driver of the SUV has not yet been found, but a website has been set up to take leads from the general public, and to memorialize Mr. Wang.

It’s very easy for us to forget about this, as our own problems overwhelm us and the 24 hour news cycle marches on. Please keep this incident in mind, however. If you are a fellow bicyclist, or just a fellow human, you no doubt understand why it is very important to find Mike’s killer … regardless of how long it takes.

I hope they find the individual. A few months ago there was a hit and run involving a Mercedes. A person realized that his neighbor was not parking his Mercedes in it ususal place. On a hunch he alerted police and it turns it the neighbor was the driver. The fact that it has gone on this long indicates to me that the SUV is not in a suburban setting. I think there is a good chance that that vehicle was stripped and disposed of in any number of wrecking yards between here and Portland, Yakima or Spokane. I do hope they catch the bastard.
