    Mike Starr, bassist and founding member of Alice in Chains has passed away at the age of 44.

    Mike was a great performer and musician, and regardless of what the media will choose to focus on, was a better human being than most.

    The pain is over, rest in peace.

      I am so heart broken about the death of Mike Starr. He was a friend and a struggling soul. I will miss his smile and great hugs. Rest in peace buddy.

      There is a memorial today 3/20 at 4:00 at the The International Fountain in Seattle Center. I am sure you are already headed there, Rex! I am sorry I am not there to go myself.
