New S.L.U.T. Transit Plaza

The new South Lake Union Trolley Plaza (I shall call it “SLUT Park” going forward for the sake of brevity) is now open at 5th and Olive, and this is what it looks like. I think the plaza has an official name (not sure what that name is, “Pacific Place” something or other), but it’s more or less a tiny pocket park a block northeast of Westlake Park.

It’s a pleasant, open concrete slab on which to hang out and wait for the trolley, and there’s also a statue of some guy to keep the pigeons busy.
