    I pulled up Google Maps, and sure enough:

    Heh.

    Well, I’ll be damned.

    It looks like the Seattle City Council strikes again.

    Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m on my way to a certain park in Queen Anne.

      I’m pretty sure it’s an old Native American name, I believe Robin Williams quoted the sentiment best when recalling a certain interview with a Native American tribesman:

      “Cocaine? That’s our gift to the white man for what you’ve done to us. You steal our land, we give you monkey for your back”
