Space Needle's New 50th Anniversary Flag
Space Needle - Welcome to the Next Fifty
To honor the Space Needle’s (and Seattle Center’s) 49th-50th year on earth, a custom flag was raised at the top of the tower which reads “Next 50″.
To mark the occasion on my own terms, today, I spent the entire day at Seattle Center.
I got some shots of the new flag from the ground, and I even went to the top of the tower to see if I could get some better images.

Unfortunately, the wind did not always cooperate by holding the flag straight for me, but I think you get the idea.
