Tents Removed from Westlake Park

Tents Removed from Westlake Park

The Westlake occupation grew from 6 tents to several dozen tents over the past three days. Today, the SPD kicked tents out of Westlake Park and sent garbage trucks through to clear people out.

Parts of 4th Avenue were temporarily closed during the sweep and 25 people were arrested.

Occupy Seattle Demonstrators vow to return to Westlake and camp sans-tents.

    Greetings,

Thank you all occupiers for standing up for US 99%ers!!

I am a current college student at Everett Community College.
I am a Mom of four, two are grown; two are with me.
    My Mom is my daycare.
We are homeless, we are not on a lease.

Department of Social Health Service’s Judge ruled I do not have my two son’s 51% of the time. I am going through the fair hearing process with the help of Fremont Public Association to challenge this ruling against our family.

Please network with all levels of community! Please put me on an update or call for action today to my email!

    Best wishes and keep strong!

Peace, Prayers, and Love Mary T-Frybread Mary of Seattle!!

The DSHS policy makers ruled that homelessness is not a barrier!!
