I make juvenile jokes every time I see the Seattle Municipal Tower (building at far left).
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty building, and at 722 feet tall, it’s quite awe-inspiring.
Still, from certain angles … well, you either see it or you don’t. I don’t want to ruin the aesthetics for others.
The Columbia Center (the tall black building) is the tallest building in the Pacific Northwest, and at 932′ is the 20th tallest in the nation. Basically, it’s our Sears Tower, although I think the Columbia Center is the nicer looking of the two. It has three concave sides making it look quite dominating from almost every angle.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, SeaTown has the nicest skyline in the USA. Downtown Seattle is a slice of Manhattan, and IMHO, it’s better looking than its east coast counterpart.

I highly recommend checking out the observation lounge on the 76th floor of the Columbia tower. Amazing views from up there.
Amazing. The woman in front of me at Chick-fil-A tonight told the guy at the counter he was amazing because he gave her sauce for her chicken strips. That’s all. He handed her the sauce that comes with the order.
